Macro photography

Thu May 8, 2008, 3:19 PM
Thank you all for the comments i've received so far on my work. Most of my work is macro, but I have a strong interest in digital painting mixed with my photography. It is a style I've been working on and really haven't found what I like yet, so in the mean time I stick with what I feel that i'm good at.

It is amazing how much you can shoot by simply walking out your backdoor and taking a closer look at the world around you.

For me macro isn't about getting everything in focus most of the time. For me it is about using a selective depth of field, shapes and color to portray a world not usually seen by most. It seems like it would be so simple, but I am very particular when it comes to what photos I put up here. So, I will hopefully continue to post photos as I also finish school and look for a job.

Nice work there Jeremy. You do love the macro photography eh? As do I, changes the way we see the world around us.

So what have you been up too?
